Our Team

Ms. Dao Thi Thu Ha joined the ESP as a Translator/Interpreter in February 2020. She is responsible for translation and interpretation assignments under SGREEE, BEM, and the ESP in general. Before joining GIZ, she had working experience as a full-time language assistant cum administrative assistant for the EU project ‘Capacity building support to the State Audit Office of Vietnam’ (EU-PFMO) and the UNDP-funded ‘Poverty Reduction Policies and Program’ project (Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs) in Hanoi; and as an English language teacher at Hanoi College of Education. Thu Ha graduated from the Vietnam National University, Hanoi with a BA degree in English Language Teacher and Education.

Xuyen joined the Energy Support Programme (ESP) in February 2019. She is currently working as the Translator/ Interpreter of the ESP. Before joining GIZ, she worked at translation company for one year. She also had experience as Interpreter/ Translator for drainage & sewerage system and environmental improvement projects under Nippon Koei Co., Ltd. funded by JICA for more than 5 years. She graduated from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Art in the English language. She speaks Vietnamese, English and Japanese (basic communication).

Ms. Giang assumed the position of Executive Assistant at GIZ ESP office in June 2021. Before joining GIZ, she worked as Office Manager and Executive Assistant/Corporate Communications at B. Braun Vietnam Co. Ltd. and Personal Assistant to Managing Director at Colas Rai Vietnam Co. Ltd. Ms. Giang brings over 16 years of experience in general administration, office management and corporate communications, executing various administration tasks and providing secretarial assistance to the management team. Ms. Giang graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She also holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Latrobe University, Australia.

Tung has more than 14 years of working experience, he learnt and accumulated the transferrable skills in both finance and accounting field by experiencing the supervisory finance and accounting positions in various companies operating in different industries. The international companies he worked include KPMG Limited, KPMG Advisory Limited and Samsung Display Vietnam Limited. He graduated from the Foreign Trade University in July 2008 and became the member of CPA Australia and CPA Vietnam in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Thuy joined GIZ since August 2019 as the Administrative Officer/Finance of the ESP. Thuy was graduated for the National Economics University and got the Diploma of treasury management from McGill University, Canada. Before joining GIZ, Thuy had extensive experience in financial and accounting management in private sector, and NGOs in various positions as the Senior Finance Officer at the World Wild Fund for Nature (Vietnam office). Thuy has experience in implementing projects funded by EC, ADB, and WWF-network, working with partners and various international donors.

Huong Giang graduated from the Hanoi National Economic University with a Bachelor of Economic – Banking & Finance, before pursuing a Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance at the Macquarie University, Australia. Before joining GIZ, Giang had extensive experience in financial management in private sectors. Giang also has experience in working with partners and monitoring the business project financed by IFC.

Minh Hang started her journey with ESP as an Administrative Officer/Logistics since June 2021. Before joining ESP she had working experience as an Event Coordinator at Bournemouth Village Hotel, UK. She also had working experience as Customer Service Specialist in a private sector in Vietnam. She graduated from Vietnam National University, Hanoi with bachelor’s degree in international business (Finance Major). She hold Master of Science degree in Events Management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom. Minh Hang hopes to play a small part in the development of ESP with her knowledge and hands-on experience.

Oanh has joined the Energy Support Programme as an Administrative Officer – Contract & Procurement since March 2020. Before joining GIZ, she worked in the business sector for 7 years varying from Government Company to Foreign Invested Enterprise. She spent 3 years acting as a key procurement and contract officer of her company’s major projects and had much experience in dealing with international cooperation matters through commercial agreements or joint collaboration framework. Oanh graduated from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University with a Bachelor in International Business Economics.

Nguyen Phuong Ly joined GIZ Vietnam in 2022. Prior to GIZ, she has 4-year of experience in working with international corporations in sourcing goods and services. Ly holds a bachelor’s degree at Foreign Trade University, Vietnam and Master’s degree in International Business Management at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. With her educational background and experience, Ly hopes to contribute to the contract and procurement of GIZ and make an impact on the improvement of ESP.

Diu has joined the Energy Support Programme as an Administrative Officer – Contract & Procurement since February 2022. Before joining GIZ, she worked for the trading companies specialized in purchasing and had almost 8 years of experience working on development projects of JICA specializing in financial and administrative management. She has extensive experience in working with a wide range of partners, enterprises and closely supports government agencies under the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development and Ministry of Education and Training. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University and a Master’s Degree in Economics from National Economics University, Vietnam.

Hue has started working for the ESP in February 2022 as an administrative, contract and procurement officer with the main responsibility on purchasing and contract management relating to energy projects. Prior to working for GIZ, Hue used to work as a general procurement leader for LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong, and used to work as a purchasing and contract officer for Panasonics Vietnam. She has practical experience in purchasing and doing cost-saving projects for production, construction, and administrative services; participated in the general procurement workshop of LG electronics companies in Southeast Asia area every year. Ms.Hue graduated from Hanoi University, majoring business administration in English.

Prior to GIZ, he has been working in the field of procurement for over 6 years for governmental offices. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Master’s degree in Business Administration at National Economics University
